Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Issues more Darshan SSD Tokens with a Rise in Visits of Devotees
The decision was made in light of a decrease in COVID-19 cases. TTD is seeing an increase in devotees attending the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam as COVID-19 instances diminish. Further, 13,000 tickets are likely to be released by the TTD between February 24 and February 28. The TTD is currently making plans to accommodate more guests.
Enhancement of Tickets & Tokens
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has agreed to increase the Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens and tickets available for Lord Venkateswara’s darshan. The decision was made in light of a decrease in COVID-19 cases in the nation. The TTD is scheduled to offer an additional 13,000 tickets for the week of February 24-28.
5000 offline SSD tokens will also be distributed at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Choultries, Srinivasam Complex, and Bhudevi Complex.
According to the source, TTD management shall issue an overall 25,000 within Rs 300 tickets section on Wednesday and 20,000 SSD tickets for offline purchases. The TTD has started providing 15,000 offline Sarva darshan tokens each day since last week.
According to data, between February 1 and 21, the number of devotees seeking darshan at the Tirupati Devasthanam increased by about 50%. On February 1, roughly 29,000 worshipers visited the sacred sanctuary, but by February 21, the number had risen to 39,000.
