Viral Pictures of Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli Daughter: How Parents Reacted

Virat Kohli has been accompanied by actress Anushka Sharma and her daughter Vamika for India’s current tour to South Africa.

The camera captured the mom and child in the stands watching the 3rd ODI in Cape Town. These are the first-ever pictures of Vamika’s face leaked online before going viral over social media. Virat and Anushka have not exposed Vamika’s face over social media and have repeatedly stated the need for privacy to their fans.

The picture of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s child Vamika was unveiled by the broadcaster from the India-South Africa match on Sunday, eliciting heated responses from fans.

Nevertheless, a screenshot of Vamika’s face was uploaded on the internet, much to the displeasure of fervent Kohli and Anushka fans, who begged social media users to remove the image.

Since Vamika’s birth a little over a year ago, Virat and Anushka have not shown her identity in any of their photos. When the media leaked Vamika’s images last December, Anushka and Virat issued a statement requesting her privacy. They have urged that the paparazzi refrain from photographing her, which they have followed.

“We desire privacy for our daughter and want to do our best to offer her an opportunity to live her life to the full away from news and social media,” they stated in a statement. We can’t restrict her movement because she’s older; therefore, your help is needed. Please practice (refrain) in this matter. Thank you, in particular, to fan groups and online users who went out of their way to avoid posting photographs. It was considerate and thoughtful of you.”

On Sunday, the authorized broadcaster of the Indian cricket team’s match against South Africa in Cape Town moved the lens to the stands, displaying Anushka Sharma and Vamika applauding for Virat Kohli, showing the couple’s daughter’s face. Given how protective Virat and Anushka have been of Vamika’s privacy, many were outraged at what they viewed as a privacy breach.
