Rosé of Blackpink is Positive for COVID-19

Rosé of Blackpink underwent an RTPCR test and was found to be positive. According to the talent management business, the other 3 members of the all-girl group have tested negative.

Rosé, a member of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK, has screened positive for COVID-19. YG Entertainment, Rosé’s agency, announced on February 28. Rosé had a PCR test right before leaving for her abroad itinerary on February 28, as per the agency’s statement, but obtained a positive diagnosis. As a result, some of BLACKPINK’s planned international events have been cancelled.

YG Entertainment also announced that Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa, the other girls of BLACKPINK, have all been tested negative. Furthermore, none of the four individuals, including Rosé, shows any signs of illness. Furthermore, all singers of BLACKPINK have received full COVID-19 vaccinations.

The organization also stated that the wellness of their artists plus staff will be prioritized and that they shall receive full assistance.

“This is YG Entertainment.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé tested positive for COVID-19 following a PCR test conducted ahead of her departure on February 28. As a result, some of her overseas schedules stand cancelled.

The other three members (Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa) have tested negative, and all of them, including Rosé, who received a positive result, have no particular suspicious symptoms.

All four members of BLACKPINK are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and we will provide our full support by prioritizing the health of our artists and staff members.

We would appreciate it if you could cheer for Rose’s rapid recovery and support BLACKPINK members active on the world stage. We will notify you if there are any changes.”

Meanwhile, Rosé enjoyed her 25th birthday on February 11 this month. Rosé surprised her fans with a version of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida on her b’day. Lisa, Blackpink’s youngest member, tested positive for Covid-19 in November. Thereafter, all other members were subjected to Covid-19 tests, but they all came out negative.
